Don Barrett, founder of, tweeted a message to KSPN (ESPN LA 710  AM) and KSWD (The Sound 100.3 FM) congratulating them on securing the local broadcast rights to the Los Angeles Rams.

Barrett also posted an internal message from Entercom VP Peter Burton touting the partnership between traditional sports radio behemoth ESPN 710 AM and Southern California’s Classic Rock, The Sound 100.3 FM. This will be the first time ever that an FM station will be carrying live Rams games.

There had been much speculation that iHeartRadio’s 570 AM had the inside track on landing the team, but longtime Los Angeles Rams fans will find this to be welcome news as KMPC 710 was the radio home of the LA Rams for virtually their entire tenure in Southern California. This represents another homecoming for the Rams as this classic tune will once again be music to our ears at the beginning of every Los Angeles Rams radio broadcast…

No word on the new broadcast team, but we formally request that LA Rams players get their own shows and star in the advertising of the new Rams Radio Network!
