Los Angeles Rams tight end Lance Kendricks was in London on Wednesday to promote the NFL International Series as the Rams inch closer to the start of their first regular season in Los Angeles since 1979.

The Rams will play in the NFL International Series against the New York Giants on Oct. 23 at Twickenham Stadium in London. This will be the first time a stadium, not named Wembley Stadium, will have hosted an NFL International Series game.

LA Rams UCI Training Camp Dates Set

Kendricks participated in a “Fan Forum Night” in which he was joined by members of other NFL teams whose franchise would be playing in London this year.

He threw around the football with fans and said about how excited he was for his Rams teammates to play in front of a different backdrop this season.

“It’s just as exciting for us as it is for (the fans),” Kendricks said to NFL UK Twitter. “Going into a different environment and to a different culture and seeing that same love you get (in London) as you would get in the states.”

The Rams will begin their training camp on July 30 at 3:30 p.m. on the campus of the University of California, Irvine.
