It was fitting that the Rams Relocation Saga, with all of its ups and downs, ended in rollicking, rollercoaster fashion.

For Los Angeles Rams fans, August 13, 2016 was what we’ve all been waiting for, the “Day of Days”

Everyone was pumped, we had been waiting 22 years for another NFL game in L.A.! …and then the opening kickoff…

Somewhere, in St. Louis, former fans were having a good laugh… then the Cowboys scored again.

Down 14-0, the Rams finally got on the board with a great 14 yard run by Benny Cunningham, who is securing the team’s #2 RB spot.

Then the Cowboys scored again, with the Rams defense making fourth round QB Dak Prescott look like an All-Pro…

Jared Goff got into the action in the second quarter…

But it was second year quarterback, Sean Mannion who would led the Rams in the second half.

Nelson Spruce… is a “playmaker”

Spruce scored a touchdown, bringing the score to 24-21. Mannion led the Rams down the field with just under two minutes left…

Final: LOS ANGELES RAMS 28 – DALLAS COWBOYS 24

This is what “victory” looks like…

Game respects game…

Mayor Butts of Inglewood was on hand to watch…

Even Roger Goodell sent his congratulations…

Until next Saturday…
